The review affirms that ADT with LHRH drugs carries with it a heightened risk of depression as well as cognitive effects. The cognitive impact, though, is neither well defined nor consistent. The data collectively suggest that the negative impact of ADT on patients directly (and on their intimate partners indirectly) are great for younger than older men.
