 Calcium & Vitamin D Recommendations:

Calcium intake of 1,000–1,200 mg daily, preferably from diet (with 800–1,000 IU of vitamin D), is recommended for general health and to prevent bone loss and fractures. Consider how much calcium you get from your diet, and be sure not to exceed 2,000 mg total when adding supplements.
